A VPN (Virtual Private Network) is a virtual private network that ensures secure communication within a public network (the internet).
With a VPN, a portion of the capacity within the existing infrastructure is allocated for communication as if it were physically separated. Site-to-site VPNs are categorized into intranet VPNs (within a single organization) and extranet VPNs (between different organizations). These can involve either geographically identical or distinct locations.
VPN Remote Access allows individual users to connect to the corporate network from anywhere, enabling them to work or communicate remotely and securely with the organization.
