BlackBerry Secure Communications has announced that SecuSUITE Server 6.0 and SecuSUITE Client 6.0 have been relisted as certified products under the International Common Criteria (CC) standard, in line with the latest NIAP Protection Profiles.
The certification is renewed periodically, as NIAP continuously updates its protection profiles to reflect current security threats. This renewal confirms that SecuSUITE continues to meet the strictest requirements for secure communications used by governments and organizations with the highest security demands.
Mobile networks are increasingly targeted by sophisticated voice and SMS interception carried out by state-sponsored actors, while the use of spyware aimed at widely adopted communication apps continues to grow. Against this backdrop, demand for independently validated communication solutions at the national-security level keeps rising.
SecuSUITE is a core pillar of the BlackBerry Secure Communications portfolio and, besides Common Criteria, is also backed by NATO Restricted, BSI, and CSfC certifications. The solution is used by NATO, all G7 nations, and most G20 countries to protect voice communications, messaging, file sharing, and coordination during crisis situations.
